German Sword & Buckler

German Sword and Buckler(I.33 Manuscript): The I.33 manuscript is the oldest surviving European fighting manual, dating back to the early 14th century. It provides detailed techniques for using a single-handed sword with a buckler (a small shield) and is a cornerstone of HEMA studies.

Italian Longsword

Italian Longsword (Fiore dei Liberi): Fiore dei Liberi was a 14th-century Italian fencing master whose works are among the most influential in HEMA. His manuals cover longsword, dagger, grappling, and mounted combat techniques, emphasizing efficiency and adaptability in combat.

Extras and more

While our primary focus is on the longsword and sword & buckler traditions, our training doesn’t stop there. We also explore other historical weapon systems including messer, dussack, and Fiore’s dagger. We welcome members’ interests and encourage research and study of additional weapons and styles to continue growing our collective knowledge and skill.
