Club Founder - Instructor

Danial Alt began his HEMA journey while training with Vier Blossen Historical Fencing during his time in Texas. After moving back to his hometown of Cohutta, Georgia during the COVID-19 pandemic, he founded the Appalachian Sword Club with an initial focus on sword and buckler.

Danial has competed in tournaments across Georgia and the Midwestern United States, bringing both practical experience and a deep passion for historical fencing to the club. As a dedicated scholar of HEMA, he dives deeply into the historical manuscripts, providing students with comprehensive lessons that combine source study and technical weapons training.
